Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Garden.
Friday evenings at 8:30 PM
As summer draws to a close, try not to miss the last two FREE movie nights offered in the beautiful Sunken Garden at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse on Friday nights.
These wonderful outdoor screenings take place under the stars and all you need to bring is a blanket or low-back beach chair and a picnic dinner. You can begin setting up on the lawn at 12 noon on the day of the screening and admission is always FREE.
The last two movies in the summer 2016 series will be Key Largo starring John Houston on August 19th and How to Marry a Millionaire on August 26th.
The final outdoor screening on August 26th will include a FREE performance by the U.S. Navy Band Cruisers at 6:00 PM. This pre-screening concert celebrates the end of another successful season dedicated to enhancing public enjoyment of the county’s regional outdoor spaces.
On the Alley, located on the Harbor, makes it the perfect place to pick up a ‘meal to go’ before the movie on Friday evenings. On the Alley serves honest simple food items with a flair, and its location makes it a great spot for taking in all the harbor action at sunset.
Here is a sampling of what folks are saying about On the Alley:
