29th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights at the Harbor

The only Holiday Waterfront Event in Santa Barbara will begin at 3:00pm on December 14, 2014 when Santa’s Village opens for visitors on the City Pier. There will be 10 tons of snow for the children to play in, a chance to meet Santa Claus and receive goody bags from Santa’s elves.

At 5:30, the 29th annual Boat Parade of Lights will begin off shore as 25-30 sail, paddle, and motor boats parade along the coastline. Each boat will be decorated with lights to illustrate this year’s theme: Gone Fishin’ for the Holidays.

Judges will view the parade from Stearns Wharf and the winning boats will receive gifts and cash prizes in five different categories at an awards ceremony at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum.

A fireworks display from West Beach will follow the parade, providing a brilliant finale to the evening.

For a snack or early dinner the night of the parade, stop by On the Alley for great food ‘to go’ or picnic table dining.
